Kingdom Test

The Kingdom Test is inspired by psychometric methodology and based on research into the characters of the anime series. The test provides feedback such as the following:

Kanki

Shin

He starts his journey as an impulsive brawler, but his raw determination and emotional honesty quickly inspire those around him. He leads his soldiers from the front lines, pushing past extreme physical exhaustion and deep personal grief to protect his found family. Although he lacks formal education and often clashes with rigid military authority, his gut instincts on the battlefield make him a lethal opponent. He openly shares his joy and anger, rallying his comrades while pursuing his dream to become the greatest general under the heavens.

Kyou Kai

Kyou Kai is a quiet, lethal warrior who balances a history of violence with a deeply protective heart. Raised in a cult-like clan of assassins, she survived extreme trauma and loss before finding a new family and purpose within the Hi Shin Unit. She speaks very little and often appears indifferent to her surroundings, yet she routinely risks her own life to shield her comrades from harm. Her deep-seated need to heal from her past conflicts with her immense talent for combat. She handles stressful moments with silent precision, channeling her emotions into focused action while slowly learning to embrace ordinary joys.

Ouki

Ouki is a legendary warrior who combines overwhelming physical strength with sophisticated, long-range military strategy. He presents a flamboyant and relaxed exterior, frequently laughing and teasing his peers, but he is deadly serious about the heavy responsibility of leadership. He carries deep, unspoken grief from losing his partner and his king, which once caused him to drift away from public life. He inspires near-supernatural morale in his followers, who fight with absolute devotion under his command. He values results and personal honor over rigid military rules, ultimately dedicating himself to mentoring the next generation of warriors and passing on his formidable legacy.

Karyo Ten

Karyo Ten is the resourceful strategist of the Hi Shin Unit who relies on intellect and preparation to survive in a world of overwhelming physical giants. As a former orphan from a ruined mountain tribe, she overcomes her lack of martial strength by mastering military tactics and battlefield coordination. She is deeply loyal to her found family, yet she constantly battles self-doubt and the fear of being left behind by her more naturally gifted peers. Under intense pressure, she can overthink her decisions, but her sharp mind, quick timing, and clever deceptions consistently protect her friends from disaster.

Riboku

Riboku is Zhao's brilliant grand strategist and commander-in-chief, driven by a deep desire to shield his homeland from violent invasion. Though he is widely feared as the most dangerous military mind of his era, he is a fundamentally gentle, conflict-averse man who would prefer a quiet farming life over the horrors of the battlefield. His greatest tragedy is his unwavering loyalty to a corrupt, short-sighted king, choosing to serve a failing system rather than launch a coup. He relies on meticulous information gathering and long-term planning to win battles before they even begin, bearing the crushing weight of his duties in quiet isolation.

Ei Sei

Ei Sei is a serious, idealistic young king who wants to end five centuries of constant warfare by unifying China under a single legal system. Born a hostage and abused during his childhood, he has developed immense endurance and self-control, learning to hide his deep trauma behind a regal composure and measured speeches. He possesses visionary conviction and political courage, yet he is forced to make brutal, pragmatic choices that conflict with his compassionate nature. He is motivated by a desire to ensure no child suffers as he did, and he faces assassination attempts and political threats by doubling down on his resolve.
